Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Reverend, academic scholar and Civil Rights activist, practiced non-violence and civil disobedience to help change the racial inequalities of his time. Born January 15, 1929, King helped transform the face of America with his eloquent speeches on race, community service and education.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a true role model and leader. His legacy shows us the power we have within ourselves to affect change. And that anything is possible when we let love rule.
